NEW ORLEANS 2011

Down on the Bayou where the powerful Mississippi kisses Lake Pontchartrain and spills into the Gulf of Mexico, lies New Orleans, the jewel of the Southland, that place the French lost o the British, who gave it to the Spanish, who lost it again to the French, who finally sold it to America. N'Awlins, the Crescent City, the Big Easy, has unbelievable sites. It remains a mythic place of Mardis Gras, voodoo and an unruly population. There are people in crazy costumes dressed like Indians, eating po' boys and crawfish. People sing through horns down there wih such passion it makes the dead cry. New Orleans is a city with its own cuisine, architecture, music and a strong enthusiasm for life.
